Most sod problems begin underneath the sod.
Fresh turf can hide poor preparation for a little while. Low spots, compacted soil, debris and weak grading eventually show themselves through drainage issues, uneven growth and failed sections.
Our process starts below the surface. We prepare the area, establish the grade and install quality sod tightly and evenly so the finished lawn looks clean immediately and has the foundation to root properly.

How long does sod installation take?
Many residential lawns can be completed in a day once preparation is ready. Larger sites or projects requiring significant grading can take longer.
When is the best time to install sod in Ontario?
Spring and early fall offer excellent establishment conditions, but sod can be installed through much of the growing season when watering can be managed properly.
Do you handle grading and preparation?
Yes. Preparation and grading are core parts of a proper installation and are included in the quoted scope as required.
How soon can I walk on new sod?
Light essential access should be minimized while roots establish. We generally recommend keeping regular traffic off for roughly two to three weeks, depending on conditions.
When can I mow the new lawn?
The first mow should wait until the sod has rooted enough that it cannot be easily lifted and the turf has reached a mowable height. We provide site-specific guidance.
Do you install sod on commercial properties?
Yes. Commercial and larger-scale installations are considered based on access, timing and project scope.
